The company is one of the largest cable operators in the United States, serving over 30 million customers in 41 states.
Spectrum offers a range of high-speed internet plans, cable TV packages with hundreds of channels, and home phone service with unlimited local and long-distance calling. They also offer various bundled packages that combine internet, TV, and phone services at discounted rates.

Programming Your Remote for Any Other Cable Box This section is for any cable box that is NOT a Charter WorldBox. If you have a WorldBox, refer to the section above for remote pairing, following the on-screen instructions for any other remote programming.
Point your remote at your cable box and press MENU to test. If the cable box responds, skip this step and proceed to PROGRAMMING YOUR REMOTE FOR TV AND AUDIO CONTROL.

Release the digit key when the TV turns off. The setup is complete. Show remotely pointed at the TV, transmitting data, and the TV is off.
NOTES: While holding the digit key, the remote will test for the working IR code, causing the INPUT key to flash each time it tests a new code.
Setup Using Direct Code Entry This step covers setup for all TV and Audio brands. For faster setup, be sure to locate your device brand in the code list before beginning setup.
The remote is set to default to control TV volume once the remote is programmed for a TV. If the remote is also set up to control an audio device, then volume controls will default to that audio device. If you wish to change volume control settings from these defaults, perform the following steps:

Programming your Spectrum remote control for your TV
Place two AA batteries into your remote.
Turn on your TV.
Locate the code for your TV manufacturer. …
Press the Menu and OK buttons at the same time, until the input button blinks twice.
Press the TV power button on your remote just once.
Steps for Troubleshooting Change the batteries. Ensure that your cable box, or Spectrum Receiver, is turned on. Change channels by pressing the buttons on your receiver (if available). Remove any objects (e.g. furniture) around your receiver.

Press the MENU button on the remote and choose Search from the Spectrum Guide menu to bring up the search screen. Please take note that the dedicated Search button, denoted by a magnifying glass, can also be used if you have the black Spectrum Guide Remote.

Press the GUIDE button on your remote to display the full-screen guide with program listings and channel information. Note: You can also view your Guide online by signing into your account and selecting Watch TV from the menu in the top left corner of the screen.
The TV or any device you want to connect to must be turned on.
Place batteries in your remote, then aim them at the object.
For the device, you are connecting, press and hold the appropriate device button on your remote.
Now simultaneously press the device button and the power button.
Verify that none of the remote’s buttons are stuck or jammed. The battery connectors for the remote control could be unclean. Place the batteries back into the remote control after removing them and use a cotton bud or soft cloth to wipe the remote control terminals with a tiny solution of alcohol.
Press the OPTIONS or “A” button on the remote when the full-screen Guide is visible, then select Guide Settings > Show Channels. Toggle between SUBSCRIBED and ALL CHANNELS by pressing OK.
Using your remote control or the Spectrum Guide menu, you can access Netflix. Spectrum Guide has further information about utilizing applications. The Netflix membership is a different one, so it won’t show up on your Spectrum statement. Visit the Netflix support page to manage your subscription.
